Cassie is our stunning red and white bitch and was bred by our friends Charlie and Geof Iason of Whitewreath kennels.

Pictured above at 14 months, Cassie is showing all the requirements a true Akita should, large bear like head, beautiful ears, lovely tail set, plenty of bone and perfect angulations, making her overall outline fantastic.

Cassie's pedigree has some of our most admired Akitas, 'CH Redwitch Heaven Can Wait' (Dollar) who is the UK's Top Winning Akita of All Time. 'CH Keskai Best Of British' (Basha) who was last years Top Utility Group Sire, also 'CH Redwitch Feel Free To Stare' (JC) who is the breeds most successful sire having sired 12 UK Champions! JC has proven time and time again that he produces type and soundness.

Cassie also has some exceptional American & Canadian heritage, her Grand-Mother 'Can CH Matsou De Lauclair of Anshee ROMPX' (Crystal) was proudly crowned Top Brood Bitch in the US 1999. Her pedigree also contains another well known producer, BIS/BISS Am CH T'Stone Raja Regalia On Buckridge ROMPX who was the US Number 1 Akita (All-breed) 2004 and the number 2 Akita (All-breed) 2005.

We are thrilled to announce that Cassie's Sire, Minioso Buffalo Soldier at Toshiko (Billy) is now owned by ourselves here at Toshiko! We would like to thank good friend Christine Forshaw of Jarsdann kennels for allowing us at Toshiko to own such a stunning boy! Billy came from the same litter as our very own Taya, therefore Taya became a very favourable aunty to Cassie. Billy has a very impressive pedigree with many Champions throughout.

Cassie's Dam 'Whitewreath Truly Gifted' (Saffy) has the most wonderful temperament you could wish for and she clearly passes this on to her offspring. Saffy has an excellent pedigree with many top Akitas behind her, such as 'CH Anshee Fur Ever', 'CH Anshee Keep The Faith' and the previously mentioned Can ' CH Matsou De Lauclair of Anshee'.
